Founder
Prof. ShivajiraoKadam, born in a small village, was a prominent figure in education. He began his career as a lecturer at BharatiVidyapeeth’sYashwantraoMohite College of Arts, Science and Commerce and later became the Principal of Poona College of Pharmacy. Under his leadership, the college made significant strides in pharmacy education and research, becoming one of India’s leading institutions. Dr. Kadam also initiated the establishment of the first Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Pune, a pioneering initiative in Maharashtra. His passion for research led to many of his colleagues obtaining research degrees and becoming key figures in the fieldProf. Kadam has been involved in several leadership and administrative positions, which are a testament to his institution building abilities.
